Stop the War is organising an anti-war convention

Event Date: 17th November 2024
Location: The Atrium, London, E2 6EJ, 12:00-5:00 pm

Stop the War Coalition

Sunday 17 November – The Atrium – London E2 6EJ

The importance of Sunday’s convention cannot be overstated. We are living through one of the most dangerous times in history. With Donald Trump’s election in the US and his appointment of hawks to his cabinet the future is far from certain.

What will Trump’s election mean for war and peace? What is behind Israel’s genocide in Gaza? What is the impact at home on civil liberties, the far right and Islamophobia? And why does the media not tell the truth about wars and militarism? These questions and many more will be discussed at the anti-war convention.

17 November l 12:00-5:00 pm l The Atrium, London, E2 6EJ

From the Middle East to Eastern Europe, we face permanent war. Great power conflict looms, risking global conflagration.

The US and Britain are backing Israel to the hilt as it carries out genocide and lashes out in all directions, and looks hell bent on war with Iran.

The West’s massive support for Ukraine has turned the conflict into a proxy war against Russia. Tensions with China are rising.

Make sure you are part of this crucial day. Bring a delegation from your group, trade union or workplace.
