Event Date: 6th November 2024
Location: Online on Wednesday 6 November at 18:00
Justice won’t be handed down to us by world leaders or corporations. It’s up to us to build a future that works for all of us. We need a change to our economies and political systems that comes from the ground up – but what does this mean?
Join us online on Wednesday 6 November at 18:00 to hear about how we can use the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP16) and the upcoming UN Climate Summit (COP29) to secure justice together – without relying on them.
We’ll be joined by speakers from the international justice movement, including those involved with both UN summits and those working to connect the dots between securing climate justice and justice for Palestinians.
COP29 will be the new Labour government’s first major climate test on the global stage, so it’s a critical moment for us to mobilise and pressure them to act. We’re planning powerful actions across the country during the climate summit — but we need your help to make them happen.
If you can, will you chip in today to support us get organised for the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice?
Thanks for your support!
In solidarity,
The Climate Justice Coalition
