Oxford CND meeting about Lakenheath

We have a big issue in this country to campaign about! US nuclear weapons – gone from Lakenheath since 2008 – are due to return. This greatly threatens the environment, and in an already fragile global situation, makes the UK a target and can only increase international tensions and the risk of nuclear conflict.
Lakenheath Alliance for Peace was set up earlier this year dedicated to stopping the return of these weapons. We held a successful peace camp at RAF Lakenheath in the summer, and another one is planned for next April.
Oxford CND is mobilising local support for this campaign. Do come along to an open meeting on
Thursday November 14th at 7pm in Oxford Town Hall
