This important event, known as “Gerboise Bleue,” marked the beginning of a series of nuclear tests in the Sahara Desert, with devastating and lasting consequences for the environment, public health, and human rights in Algeria.
The webinar will take place on February 13, 2025, at 14:00 (GMT, London time). It will bring together experts to discuss the historical, environmental, and social impacts of these nuclear tests, as well as the ongoing struggle for justice and reparations.
