Protests at Barclays branches the length and breadth of Britain

Event Date: 26th April 2025
Location: At Barclays branches the length and breadth of Britain

It’s essential we keep the pressure on Barclays, which bankrolls Israel’s genocide and apartheid against Palestinians.

This Saturday 26 April, we’re holding protests at Barclays branches the length and breadth of Britain. Will you join your local action?

On Wednesday 7 May, Barclays is holding its Annual General Meeting in London. At the AGM, Barclays’ senior management will outline their plans for the next year.

We’ll be protesting outside to demand they end Barclays’ complicity in Israel’s crimes. Assemble at 9.45am at the QEII Centre, Westminster. Make plans to join us.

Barclays provides investment and loans worth billions to companies supplying Israel with weapons used in its genocide in Palestine.

The bank also has a direct agreement with Israel to act as a ‘primary dealer’ for its government bonds. This means that Barclays is helping Israel to raise money to fund its atrocities against Palestinians.

Barclays is becoming a toxic brand – thousands of former customers have shut their accounts as part of our mass account closure days, while tens of thousands more have pledged to boycott the bank. At almost every event Barclays hosts or sponsors, it faces our protests.

As Palestinians continue to face Israel’s daily massacres, it’s so important we keep the pressure up on corporations, like Barclays, that enable Israel to carry out its war crimes.

Join us by taking action against Barclays.
