The Conservative Party is holding its Annual Conference in Manchester this year and there will be a week of demonstrations, actions and events organised by the many, many people who oppose them.
Please accept our invitation to the following events.
1st October – Tories Out – Festival and demonstration
On the opening day of the conference, there will be a major festival and demonstration, starting in Castlefield Arena (Manchester) at 12pm.

2nd October – Avoiding Apocalypse – CND public meeting – 5.15pm
Greater Manchester CND is hosting a meeting about the global situation and how we can build an alternative to a foreign policy based on nuclear weapons and war. Speakers will include: Dr Kate Hudson (General Secretary of CND), Ann Feltham (Parliamentary Officer at CAAT) and Dr Jenny Clegg (Expert on North East Asia and CND Council Member).

NB. This event will immediately precede a nearby event at 7pm with John McDonnell MP, in conversation about ‘An Economy That Works For All’. It is possible to attend both events.
It would be great to get as many CND members as possible to Manchester, to show the Tories how we feel about them.
