Red Line for Palestine Arms Embargo and Sanctions Now

Event Date: 4th June 2025
Location: London, Hoses of Parliament 11:30 BST

Millions of Palestinians in Gaza are at immediate risk of starvation due to Israel’s genocidal blockade. On Wednesday 4 June at 11:30AM we are mobilising thousands of supporters to encircle Parliament to demand a full arms embargo and sanctions on Israel NOW.

We are asking all of our supporters to leave their workplaces, universities or homes during lunch to join us. Wear red and help us surround Parliament with a Red Line for Palestine. Will you join us?

Last week, the UK government announced a suspension of trade negotiations with Israel and sanctions on a limited number of individuals. While the direction of travel is welcome, it is too little and too late, especially given that Israel has clearly stated, and has shown over the past days, that it intends to deepen its genocide.

Our leaders are clearly feeling the pressure to act, so we must use this opportunity to force their hand. On Wednesday we will be surrounding Parliament to tell our complicit politicians that Israel has long since crossed the red line and that we need action, not words, in response.

Trade unions, civil society groups, politicians and other campaigning organisations are all supporting our call – Will you join them?

Yes, I will

In Parliament Foreign Secretary David Lammy promised that “if Israel pursues this military offensive as it has threatened, failing to ensure the unhindered provision of aid, we will take further actions in response”. However he refused to spell out what these further actions would be and why we need to wait for even more Palestinians to be bombed and starved for them to be implemented.

Since Lammy’s speech Israel has killed hundreds more Palestinians, and implemented a new barbaric ‘aid’ system with starving Palestinians herded into cages by American mercenaries and shot at. And yet he has taken no further action.

It seems that this government has lost the red line that it has given to Israel. Help us bring it to their doorstep next week.

See you at Parliament.
