National March for Palestine

Event Date: 9th August 2025
Location: Central London 12 Noon

Stop the War Coalition

The establishment is reeling over Gaza. The combination of the unspeakable scenes from Gaza and our mass movement is causing turmoil. Millions of people are turning against the government because of it.

Starmer’s statement over recognising Palestine is hollow and hypocritical, but it shows the government is panicking.

Mainstream media outlets including the Guardian, the Mail and the Express have carried frontpages calling for action to end the deliberate starvation. Mainstream celebrities like Michael Caine and Bob Geldoff are speaking out. Even the Jewish Board of Deputies have had to criticise Israel’s policy.

These are just words but they show the level of crisis that has been created by popular outrage and protests.

The job now is to reach out to as many of the new people who are turning against what Israel is doing and get them involved.

We need to connect with them and make next Saturday’s demonstration massive by leafleting and putting posters up everywhere.

We are asking everyone to get out and make noise with pots and pans on Fridays at 6pm at junctions, town halls, main roads in your area or in your street.

What you can do:

  • Organise Palestine car cavalcades promoting the demonstration.
  • Try and arrange announcements about the demo at every public event including services, prayers, festivals, film screenings, gigs, theatre performances and so on.
  • Ask trade unionists or other staff to circulate posters and leaflets in every workplace.
  • Organise as many stalls at stations and towns centres as you can publicising the demo .
  • Put up a demo poster in your window.
You can get leaflets and posters for the demonstration from our office. We also have Stop Starving Gaza placards for protests and window posters.

Come in and pick them up or email/phone us and we will send them.

Please send video clips, photos and reports of all activity.
