Dear Activist,
We are delighted to announce that renowned climate campaigner Jonathon Porritt will be joining us on Wednesday 4 March to introduce his new book, Love, Anger & Betrayal, which visits the latest generation of climate activists and documents the experiences of 26 insightful young people, revealing their passion for a just and sustainable transition away from our global economic and cultural dependence on fossil fuels. It also asks: Is there still time to avoid climate breakdown?
The talk will take place at St John’s Place (Lower Road, Bemerton, Salisbury SP2 9NP), with doors opening at 6.30 for a 7pm start. Refreshments will be available.
Following the talk there will be a Q&A, and the book will be available for sale and signing on the night.
Tickets are free, with an option to donate when booking or on the night. All proceeds will be used to fund climate activism. We are expecting demand to be high, so please book early to guarantee entry.
