Event Date: 23rd February 2026
Location: Westminster Magistrate's Court, Marylebone Road, NW1 5BR, 9am

On Monday (23 February) Stop the War’s vice chair Chris Nineham and PSC’s director Ben Jamal are on trial at Westminster Magistrate’s Court for peacefully protesting genocide on 18 January last year.
Monday is the first day of the trial and we will be holding a protest outside the court both in solidarity with Chris and Ben and to demand the charges against them are dropped.
This landmark case is part of a sustained attack on our right to speak out for Palestine, and the ramifications will impact on all those who wish to protest government policy whatever the issue. Legislation is currently going through Parliament to further restrict our rights. If you believe in the importance our democratic right to protest make sure you are outside the court.
