Nakba Demonstration

Event Date: 16th May 2026
Location: Central London

The Nakba didn’t end in 1948.

Palestinians have continued to face ethnic cleansing, dispossession, apartheid and genocide for over 78 years. Each year in May we march in London to commemorate this ongoing catastrophe, to demand an end to Britian’s complicity in Israel’s crimes and reaffirm our commitment to the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the refugees’ right to return home.

Join us on Saturday 16 May to march in London.

More detailsOur march will bring together Palestinians along with the solidarity movement, all those who support freedom and justice from all ages and backgrounds. It is more important than ever that we show the British government that the people of this country stand with Palestinians in their struggle for liberation.

This year our annual march is facing a unique and historic challenge as the Metropolitan Police has stated its intention to allow far right thug Tommy Robinson to march with his racist supporters in central London on the same day. We have been joined by over 200 MPs, trade union leaders, artists, academics, lawyers and community leaders in calling on the Met to reverse this disgraceful decision.

Either way, we will march for Palestine in our hundreds of thousands on 16 May.
Will you join us. We will take extra precautions to maintain distance from the far right rally so that we can safely give space to children and the elderly Nakba survivors who play such an important role on the march.

We will come with our neighbours, our families, our children, our trade unions, and we will stand together to commemorate the horror of the ongoing Nakba, the resilience of the Palestinian people and their enduring struggle for freedom.

Join us on 16 May for our Nakba 78 march in London.
Find a coachWe need every anti-racist, anti-fascist and all people of good conscience to be with us in London on 16 May. The far right wants to divide us and drive us off the streets. The government wants us to give up on our solidarity with the Palestinian people.

But on Saturday 16 May we will march together in London and show that unity and solidarity will prevail. Join us.
