The Environmental Impact of RAF Fairford

Following an article stating that RAF Fairford is one of the most severely contaminated locations in England, we are seeking people with time (2-5 hours a week) to join a team of others to research further into environmental breaches in the area surrounding Fairford, including freedom of information requests, surveys, connecting with local environmental groups and services.

If you have some time to commit over the coming months to support us in highlighting the disastrous impact of the base on Fairford and the surrounding area, please contact Shel via [email protected]

Seeking other support for Fairford Action

We are looking for people who may be able to support us over the coming months as we set up a greater Alliance of groups at Fairford Action. In particular we are seeking people within our networks who have some time available soon to support with the following:

  • Website design and upkeep

  • Social media and communications

If you are able to help please drop an email to [email protected]

We  see the immense value in the above skills and know that there is a higher level  of commitment as well as workload in these areas. Sadly can’t offer financial  support at this moment in time but will be looking into funding options to  support such integral and continuous roles if needed to allow someone committed  to the campaign and skilled to do the role.
