Stop the War Coalition

 After the International Conference
Activist meeting 14 July & March for Palestine 18 July

Last month’s International Conference Against War in London’s iconic Central Hall was an electric experience. Thanks to everyone who attended or organised delegations to be among the 3,000 who gathered there.

But it was only the beginning of building a truly global, popular movement against war. As John Rees said in a speech that had the hall on its feet – we must now move from talking to action.

Which is why we’re asking you to join a crucial zoom call for all antiwar activists and supporters next Tuesday evening.

Register for the Zoom call

We hope you can be with us online on 14 July (6.30pm BST) to discuss the important work of building for the key days of action agreed in the Conference statement.

Please register on Zoom now.

Below are some further key asks after the Conference:

1. Book your transport for 18 July Palestine demo

The Palestine Coalition has called a national demonstration for 18 July in London (assembly point and route TBC). This is the Saturday before it’s likely that Britain will have a new prime minister. We’re demanding the new PM says no to war, no to genocide and imposes sanctions on Israel.

Please share the graphic above on your social media and organise car-shares, coaches and train station meet-ups. Hard copy leaflets are available from the Stop the War office, and a downloadable JPEG is on our resources page.

2. Take our post-Conference survey

This short survey will help us understand how we can build a powerful movement against war – locally, nationally and internationally.

We want to know more about your experience of the International Conference Against War and what you hope to do next in your area, trade union, or activist networks.

Together we can build a powerful movement of resistance against the global drive to war.

In solidarity,
