Stop the War’s Labour Party Fringe Meeting – 19 Sept

Boris Johnson’s tenure has seen Britain fall in line with US belligerence towards China and wholeheartedly align itself with Donald Trump in what increasingly feels like a new cold war. This ongoing escalation occurs whilst the Western backed, Saudi-led war in Yemen rages on and tensions with Iran continue to simmer.

This meeting will take place during the Labour Party’s Connected Conference and aims to push the case for it to continue the progressive and peaceful foreign policy direction adopted during Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership.

It is vital that we keep up the pressure on the UK’s primary parliamentary opposition to take a stance for peace and de-escalation as tensions are ramped up.
