MAW Remembrance Lecture 'Peacebuilding in the post-Covid World'

Event Date: 7th November 2020
Location: Internet 2pm

I attach a leaflet giving details of our Remembrance Lecture on Saturday 7th November, 1.45 for 2pm.

We are delighted that Labour’s Shadow Minister for Peace and Disarmament will give this year’s MAW Remembrance Lecture on the subject of ‘Peacebuilding in the post-Covid World’. The Labour Party’s previous Leader, Jeremy Corbyn, and its current Leader, Keir Starmer both put International Peacebuilding at the forefront of Labour’s Foreign Policy once elected to Government again. Fabian will outline how he sees a future Labour Government achieving that goal, based partly on the philosophy of the late Robin Cook and expanding his ideas in the context of the post-pandemic world.

PLEASE REGISTER EARLY for this online event, by filling in the form on our website http://www.abolishwar.org.uk/rem2020.html
