This Sunday – National Alternative Remembrance Ceremony

On Remembrance Sunday, join us online for a shared moment of remembrance for all victims of war. Across the country people have been busy organising socially distanced white poppy ceremonies. At the national ceremony we will share video contributions from around the UK, including from Tavistock Square, where the event is usually held.

Amina Atiq, a Yemeni–Scouse poet, performance artist and activist, will give a live reading of her powerful work.

Penny Stone, a radical singer, songleader and composer, will perform some of her beautiful and haunting music drawing on voices from war zones.

With video contributions from across England, Scotland and Wales, including from Edinburgh Peace & Justice Centre, Leicester CND & faith groups, and others.

When - 12 midday, Sunday 8th November 2020

How to join - Simply visit our Remembrance and White Poppies page at the time to watch the live stream: https://www.ppu.org.uk/remembrance-white-poppies
