We encourage you to join the international launch on July 15 of NoFirstUse Global, a campaign platform and network to promote no-first-use policies globally as a measure to prevent nuclear war and to support the achievement of a nuclear-weapon-free world.

Support for No-First-Use policies is growing in nuclear armed countries and around the world, as evidenced by the recent Open Letter to Presidents Biden and Putin which was endorsed by over 1200 political, military and religious leaders, as well as legislators, academics/scientists and other representatives of civil society. About NoFirstUse Global

NoFirstUse Global is a new platform and network bringing together organizations, academics, policy makers and civil society advocates working for adoption of no-first-use policies by nuclear-armed States, support for such policies from nuclear allied countries, promotion by non-nuclear countries and follow-on implementation of such policies.

NoFirstUse Global provides information, resources, forums, actions and events on No-First-Use policies and how they can contribute to nuclear risk-reduction, conflict de-escalation, non-proliferation and disarmament.

NoFirstUse Global promotes and builds upon actions and initiatives taken by co-sponsoring organisations, participating organizations and others to advance no-first-use policies. These include the June 2021 Open Letter to Presidents Biden and Putin, no-first-use legislation introduced into the US Congresspublic appeals promoting no-first-use, resolutions supporting no-first-use from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (parliaments of France, Russia, UK, USA and other NATO and European parliaments) and more.
