No! 20 Years of Stop the War: A Visual Retropective
Our free exhibition marking 20 years of Stop the War opens this Wednesday at the Bow Arts Nunnery Gallery! The exhibition comprises of a diverse range of mediums and styles; placards, stitched banner work, textile art, music, film, photography, prints, paintings and site-specific installations. It provides a brief history of the Stop the War movement and an idea of the remarkable creativity that truly popular mobilisation can unleash.
Artists exhibiting include: Banksy, Vivienne Westwood, Ben Eine, David Gentleman, Brian Eno, kennardphillips, Katherine Hamnett, Rob Montgomery, Martin Rowson, Ed Hall, Karmarama, Noel Douglas, Amir Amirani, Jess Hurd, Jim Aindow, Guy Smallman, Kristian Buus and Steve Eason.
It will be running for just 10 days so make sure you set aside some time to come down and view this one-of-a-kind retrospective. You don’t want to miss this!
