22 January – Britain Must Sign the TPNW! Yorkshire CND Annual General Meeting

Exactly one year since the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons entered into force, Yorkshire CND will be hosting its Annual General Meeting.

Due to the high number of Omicron cases, this event will now be taking place online. Timetable as follows:

10.45 – 11.00 Welcome
11.00 – 12.30 Business meeting – reports, resolutions, elections, group reports, etc.
12.30 – 13.15 Lunch
13.15 – 14.45 Session on “Nuclear Weapons and the Environment: protecting the planet” with speakers including Kate Hudson (CND General Secretary) and Simon Bowens (from Friends of the Earth) with Q & A and discussion
