Oxford CND supports Nurse not Nukes

Location: Assembly is 2pm Manzil Way with rally at 3.30 pm in Bonn Square.
CND is supporting the SOS NHS day of action.
The CND campaign is ‘Nurses not Nukes’.
The Oxford day of action is Saturday 26th February.
Assembly is 2pm Manzil Way with rally at 3.30 pm in Bonn Square.
A CND ‘Nurses not Nukes’ poster is attached.
A few will be available at Manzil Way at the start of the march.

KONP is part of the national SOSNHS coalition that is demanding:
• emergency funding of £20 billion to save lives this winter
• Invest in a fully publicly owned NHS & guarantee free healthcare for future generations
• Pay staff properly: without fair pay, staffing shortages will cost lives
The coalition has called a national day of action on 26th Feb.
A local march and rally has been called by- :
Oxfordshire Keep Our NHS Public
Oxfordshire UNISON Health branch
UNITE Community BOB branch
Oxfordshire Socialist Health Association
Additional support has since been confirmed from Oxford Unite health branch and Oxford & District Labour party, with other trade union and campaign groups requested to support.
Assembly is 2pm Manzil Way with rally at 3.30 pm in Bonn Square.
A flyer has been printed and supplies are available for distribution. Please email for a supply. An electronic copy of the leaflet is attached for forwarding to email lists.
