Nurses Not Nukes: Join the NHS demo this Saturday!
The NHS is experiencing the worst crisis ever seen with around 500 people dying avoidably every week. Despite this, the UK government is spending billions of pounds on increasing its nuclear stockpile and developing new nuclear weapons. At the same time, it says it doesn’t have enough money to properly fund the NHS or pay healthcare workers a fair wage. That’s why CND is supporting Saturday’s SOS NHS coalition’s demonstration, as part of our Nurses not Nukes campaign.
SOS NHS is also calling for volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the demonstration. If you can help email [email protected] with your name, email, phone number, and confirm that you can meet at the assembly point.
Can’t make the demo? Show your support by wearing a CND ’Nurses not Nukes’ t-shirt or
