Hiroshima Day Candle Float

Event Date: 6th August 2023
Location: Salisbury, Fisherton Street Bridge, SP1 2ND at 8:45

Salisbury CND’s annual rememberance of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which we mark by floating candles and lanterns on the River Avon each year.

The event will be held on Sunday, 6th August at 8.45pm, at Fisherton Street Bridge, SP1 2ND.

Do come and join us on this very special event.  We anticipate that our own lanterns will be joined by lanterns prepared by school students in Hiroshima.  It should be a very moving occasion.
