"Which Side Are You On?" - an evening of songs and images of the history of protest in Oxfordshire .

Event Date: 24th November 2023
Location: Unicorn Theatre, Old Abbey Buildings, Abingdon OX14 3JB, 7:30 pm

The SeaGreen Singers, Oxford’s political choir, tell some surprising tales in their evening of songs and tales, first performed last November in Oxford.

The hidden history of protest and power in Oxfordshire will be told in stories and song in the atmospheric Unicorn Theatre, Old Abbey Buildings, Abingdon OX14 3JB, on Friday 24th November at 7.30pm.

We will bring you songs and images of famous and less well-known Oxfordshire protests, from the Cutteslowe wall saga to the Campsfield campaign, from the Otmoor riots to Oxford University’s links to slavery. Join us on a journey of discovery and inspiration!

Although we are delighted to be performing in the atmospheric Unicorn theatre, this is a medieval building awaiting restoration, which unfortunately means we cannot provide step-free access or disabled access toilets, as they are at the far end of the building and up several steps! If you have mild mobility issues we may be able to advise you: please ring Sally on 07786 055195 to discuss.

Please book your free but unreserved seats on Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/715713707967

We look forward to seeing you on 24th November!

Sally Reynolds, Anne Dodd, Daniel Scharf and Tom Skitt – Seagreen singers all!
