CND is a democratic organisation and our annual conference and AGM is the opportunity for members to decide our overall direction for the coming year, to debate contemporary issues and to draw strength and inspiration from participating in a collective national forum.
We look forward to welcoming you to CND’s Annual AGM and conference, which will be held at the Arlington Conference Centre, 220 Arlington Road, Camden, London NW1 7HE on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2015. The venue is fully accessible however please contact [email protected] if you have any special requirements. We welcome delegates from the widest possible diversity of background, culture and experience.
Saturday 17th October
The AGM will include elections for Officers and directly elected council members. The review of campaigning activities and finances will also be taken at the AGM.
Following on from the AGM there will be a debate on resolutions submitted by local groups and other CND organisations. This is our policy conference that provides members with the important opportunity to decide our overall direction for the coming year so please do encourage as many of your members as possible to come along and contribute.
Sunday 18th October
By October we may be just months away from the Parliamentary decision on Trident, due in early 2016. This second open day of conference will be an opportunity to discuss and assess our progress since May’s general election and further develop our strategy to get rid of Trident.
This day will be organised together with other nuclear disarmament groups to have the maximum discussion around different methods and areas of expertise. Please come along and bring anyone you know who is working to scrap Trident: together we are strong! Registration Fees
Organisations are expected to pay the registration fee for their delegates, who can be mandated. If delegates wish to have their own personal voting entitlement, they must separately register as an individual. Saturday 17th October 2015

There are no lunch facilities on site so please bring your own lunch or use one of the cafes nearby. Tea and coffee will be available for a small donation. There will be a reception held on Saturday after the policy conference. The reception is sponsored by the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) to mark its centenary year – celebrating one hundred years of unwavering commitment to the cause of peace.
