13 May 2025 – Colombia for Lunch?

In the last two weeks an exciting opportunity has emerged for FoR members.

We have previously supported the vital Accompaniment Program ‘FoR Peace Presence’ in Colombia. This program sees brave individuals, inspired by their commitment to care for their fellow human, walk alongside people and communities in danger of violence and attack.

This coming Monday, at 12.30 (Lunchtime), you have the chance to have a webinar chat with 2 accompaniers. They are stopping in the UK on their way to Vienna and it will be a fascinating conversation. Ruby and Roviro from the Comunidad de Paz of San José de Apartadó will be in the UK.

They will be holding this webinar to share first hand the experience of people in Colombia. Their focus of work and witness is on acocmpaniment to uphold the human and environmental rights that are often discarded.

This event is put on by Fellowship of Reconciliation, and Cymdeithas Y Cymod with support from Peace Brigades International
