Dear TPNW advocates and ICAN supports across UK,

Now that the May election results are in, we have a lot to discuss.

I’m pasting a draft/indicative agenda here, with a list of suggestions for issues relevant to the coming year for different groups to campaign on.

These might include:

* election opportunities, outreach to parties, MPs and candidates, parliamentary pledges;

* city/local council resolutions supporting TPNW;

* broader UK-related campaigning on Lakenheath, nuclear production and deployment;

* UK nuclear research and development costs, and problems at AWE nuclear bomb and submarine facilities, bases and deployments;

* Financing of nuclear weapons by UK companies and subsidiaries.

 If you would like to give short – less than 5 minute – presentations on what you are doing or want to take forward on any of these (or other relevant) nuclear and TPNW-related issues, PLEASE LET ME KNOW by FRIDAY.

Some issues to consider: election opportunities, outreach to parties, MPs and candidates; parliamentary pledges, city/local council resolutions supporting TPNW; broader UK-related campaigning on Lakenheath, nuclear production and deployment; UK nuclear research and development costs; problems at AWE nuclear bomb and submarine facilities, bases and deployments; UK companies financing UK and other (e.g. French, US, Russian (?)) nuclear weapons; roles attached to nuclear weapons in Putin’s invasion and the Russia-Ukraine war and the war on Gaza; climate and nuclear intersectionalities; Other?
