9/11 changed the world forever. This is the story of the brutality that followed

It’s been 25 years since 9/11. What lasting imprint did the attacks leave on the global political order?
Season of Wolves argues that the post-9/11 era has been overwhelmingly understood through the language of terrorism and security. Against these state-spoken and media-echoed narratives, Mohammad-Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou reconstructs a deeper history of the last 25 years.
Through a comprehensive recasting of the events of September 11th to the mid-2020s he traces the emergence of a new political order marked by war, racism, propaganda, authoritarianism and technological oppression.
Season of Wolves lays bare the structures and forces that continue to define our times.
