Stop the War coalition: Build the international movement against war

International Movement Against War
Stop the War is playing a major role in the international anti-war movement. As part of this we held a hugely successful conference back in June, and are now organising a national tour bringing international speakers to the UK who, along with key British anti-war activists, will be addressing rallies around the country.
Across Europe governments are stirring up a war frenzy. Arms spending is rocketing, conscription is being introduced and threats to our security from Iran, Russia and China are being talked up daily.
There is no public consensus for the massive re-armament that our leaders are planning, especially if it means an increase in taxes or a decrease in spending on public services. The international anti-war tour seeks to take these issues to audiences across the country, and to show that there is a real alternative to the warfare state. But touring is expensive.
To make the tour as successful as possible we need to raise funds for venues, travel, accommodation and publicity. Please help by giving generously.
