Three Years of Genocide

This Saturday, to mark the third year of Israel’s genocide, activists around the world will march together on what will be the first fully coordinated global day of demonstrations for Palestine. Sixty countries will be taking part, with marches, demonstrations, blockades and vigils.
In London the Palestine coalition will be marching from Victoria Embankment to Whitehall in what will be a massive show of resilience and solidarity. Make sure you join us.
For three years the government has tried to silence us. But we will not be silenced. They arrested and charged leaders of our movement for organising a peaceful protest, and hundreds of protesters for merely holding signs. But the movement is stronger than ever.
Now the government is bending under pressure – they have said what we already knew – that those protesting the genocide are in the right. But we need to keep on pushing and ensure their words become action.
We demand full sanctions and a full arms embargo, recognition of the genocide, and for all charges against Palestine protesters to be dropped and for Palestine Action to be de-proscribed.
Be on the streets tomorrow – 12pm, Victoria Embankment.

Resistance to war and militarism across Europe is growing and we need to build the movement here, so come along to a rally near you and find out how we can take the Welfare not Warfare message to the next level.
MPs from La France Insoumise will be speaking about the French school uprising, and actions against war and militarism. Ulrike Eifler, a leading trade unionist from German, will be talking about German militarisation and the anti-conscription strikes there, and Peter Mertens from the Belgium Workers Party will tell us about the growing opposition to cuts and the anti-war movement in Belgium. And this week we were delighted to learn that Giorgos Gogos, General Secretary of the Greek Dockworkers’ Union in the Port of Piraeus will be joining the London and Birmingham legs of our tour.
Make sure your union gets onboard
The list of unions supporting the Days of Action arising from the anti-war conference in June keeps growing. Make sure your union is included by passing the anti-war motion at your next branch meeting.

Make your support visible. Bring your banners to the anti-war ralliesand join the union bloc on the march tomorrow (meeting point Cleopatra’s Needle).
Don’t forget to let us know if the motion passes at your branch so we can add you to the list.
Students and Youth Against War

Young people across the country have been getting organised. Students are tired of seeing military recruitment on their campuses, and they reject being corralled into research and development careers for arms companies.
