Video to mark our 150th Salisbury Peace Vigil

Posted: 11th October 2026

This video was made to mark our 150th Peace Vigil here in Salisbury.  The vigil has grown and endured thanks to the inputs from everyone who has attended.  It has been a very special experience to be a part of this and everyone will have their own perspective on why they continue to take part and contribute.  We hope this video captures something of the motivation of some of the attendees.

The video is entitled “Because….”

In the coming week we will be seeking to publicise the video and it has been sent to World Beyond War, who have asked for videos of peace campaigning in 2026.

A huge thanks to everyone who has taken part thus far, and we hope that the vigil will grow and keep strong while the dire situation in the Middle East persists.
