World Beyond War upcoming events

There are always, always chances to join or organize local activities and demonstrations, and to ask World BEYOND War to help!

But sometimes local actions can be more powerful when made into part of a global day or week of actions. Here are two such opportunities coming up soon:

October 30: Everywhere: Demonstrate Your Support for Dockworkers Blocking Weapons Shipments

Not just dockworkers and peace activists in several countries have planned strikes and demonstrations for October 30th, but unions in at least some countries have called for a general strike, and student groups — making the connection between soaring war spending and dwindling school spending — are planning to join in. Can you do so too? Plan an event and tell us about it! Learn more here.

November 1-7: Everywhere: Demonstrate Opposition to Imperialism and Genocide

Join the Global Resistance Week to Stop U.S. Imperialism & Genocide on November 1-7. Organize an action at U.S./NATO/Israeli military bases, weapons shipping ports, and global weapons, surveillance, and AI data center industries, or other strategic location to nonviolently STOP THEM IN THEIR TRACKS.
