Palestine Solidarity Campaign: TAKE ACTION: Workplace Day of Action for Palestine

Posted: 21st October 2026

Palestinian trade unions and the BDS movement have called on workers around the world to escalate our solidarity actions against genocide and apartheid.

This month, we need you to take part in two essential actions – PSC’s trade union conference on Saturday 14 November and the next workplace day of action for Palestine on Thursday 26 November.

On Saturday 14 November, join us at the Workers Organising for Palestine PSC Trade Union conference to network and plan to build BDS campaigns in your workplace and trade union.

The conference will include skills and information workshop sessions to empower every worker, trade union member and organiser to step up their activities. It will also feature international guest speakers and key trade union representatives and activists, including:

Jamal Juma, executive committee member of the New Unions in Palestine and a secretariat member of the BDS National Committee (BNC), Sarah Kilpatrick, Deputy General Secretary NEU, Zita Holbourne FRSA, Co-Chair Artists’ Union England, Aimee Shalan, Director Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Micaela Tracey-Ramos, UNISON Vice President, Dooley Harte, Pensions Official at UCU, and Vice Chair of the ICTU Global Solidarity Committee.

A key goal of the conference will be preparing for the next Workplace Day of Action for Palestine on Thursday 26 November, when thousands of workers and students around the world will be launching workplace campaigns for boycotts, divestments and sanctions and taking action to end their government’s complicity with Israel’s crimes.

This is in response to a global call to action from Palestinian trade unions and the BDS movement, calling on trade unionists, students and civil society organisations across the world to take co-ordinated campaigning actions in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Pledge to take action in your workplace

Join us at the trade union conference on 14 November and start planning now to help make this workplace day of action the strongest yet.
