World beyond War: Student Strike For Peace This November

On November 20th, students across Europe will go on an International Youth Strike, rallying behind the slogan Fight For Our Future, Not Their Wars. After protests swept across France, Italy, Spain and many more countries in the past weeks, opposing austerity, insecurity, wars and militarization, youth are taking the streets again.
They are organising in more than 10 countries for education free from military interests, to abolish both voluntary and mandatory military service, and for public investment in schools, healthcare, housing and climate justice instead of weapons and war. Read their MANIFESTO here.
And they are not alone. All over Europe, trade unions and civil society are also organising. World BEYOND War is joining Stop ReArm Europe in calling for Days of Action around 20th November, asking for: Welfare, not Warfare; Give Young People a Future — No to Military Service; No to Militarisation — Yes to Diplomacy and Democratic Rights.
