This week saw three brave people from People Against Genocide take direct action against one of Elbit’s main logistics partners, DSV. The Stoke-on-Trent facility was blockaded for hours, with just three people, after last month we blocked all roads into the Elbit Shenstone facility. Imagine what 100 of us could do, shutting these factories down again and again until they are forced to pack up and leave.
We need your support to make that happen. Donate to cover our next action:
Despite being faced with violence from DSV staff and security, those taking action stood firm. We all must stand tall in the face of repression, and continue to take direct action to drive Elbit out of Britain for good.
Through campaigns of direct action over the last six years, we have seen multiple Elbit sites be shut down and countless of Elbit’s partners drop contacts and sever relationships. Even in the last year, while direct action for Palestine has seen acute attention from the British state we have seen win after win.
It is well within our power to drive Israel’s biggest private arms company from Britain for good, and direct action must be our tool.
The time for asking nicely is dead, and resistance is alive and well.
Join the fight:
Silence Elbit Drones.
“In order to hear the birds, the drones must be silent”
Those words, which were adapted from a poem by the Palestinian author Marwan Makhoul, were read out by Leona Kamio on behalf of four of the Filton 25 before they were sent back to prison, after they were sentenced as terrorists, on the basis of criminal damage convictions.
We take these words into action: together we will shut down every Elbit site in Britain with direct action.
