Stuart Hall’s Key Political Writings

Spanning six decades of uncompromising commentary, Stuart Hall’s
Selected Political Writings reveals how culture lies at the very heart of state power.
This landmark collection tracks three pivotal eras of capitalist restructuring, from his early work shaping the New Left, to his defining critique of Thatcherism and authoritarian populism, and his later analysis of neoliberalism and New Labour’s “double shuffles.”
This is an essential book for anyone seeking to navigate the cultural mechanics of political domination.
