Hiroshima Day Candle Float

Once again we organised our annual commemoration for the victims of the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 by floating candles on the River Avon in the city centre.

It was a lovely evening and many people came to watch, discuss and reflect. Afterwards a large group of us ended the evening sociably in the New Inn.
