Forthcoming Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill

In March, you spoke out against a dangerous new policing bill that threatens our right to protest. Thanks again for your support. Thousands of people like you rallied together to defend our fundamental freedoms and the government did not succeed in rushing the bill through parliament as planned.

But they did bank on us forgetting all about it – and that’s not going to happen. With your help, we’ll be pushing the government to scrap the parts of the bill that clamp down on protest and criminalise trespass.

Right now, the bill is passing through parliament and big decisions from MPs are coming soon. Later this month, when the bill’s Committee Stage ends, we’ll need you to make as much noise as possible. It’s got to be unavoidably clearto our MPs that we expect them to protect our rights by challenging this draconian bill. I’ll tell you more about this soon.
