U.S. Navy has confirmed that they are planning for the new "Trident" missile

The U.S. Navy has at last confirmed that they are planning for the new “Trident” missile to replace the Trident II D5 currently deployed on US and UK subs.
The new missile will be ready when the ninth New US Trident sub rolls out of the assembly bay. And, of course, the UK subs will be travelling to scenic Kings Bay to load all those shiny new missiles.
