UN Treaty Discussions on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons

We enjoyed a most interesting presentation by Elizabeth Minor of Article 36 at our recent AGM.  She brought us up to date with the progress of discussions within the UN aimed at completing a Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons.  The current intention is that the Treaty should be ready for signing on 7th July 2017.  This is an area that all of us interested in CND should keep a close eye on, as it offers an important opportunity to raise public awareness of the need for nuclear disarmament.
