The new plan revolves around hydrogen, the most abundant element in the universe, which burns cleanly.

They say hydrogen is key to the country’s ambitious goal of becoming carbon-neutral. So they built a new hydrogen plant in Fukushima near the old nuclear power plant to realize that hope.

With 68,000 solar panels covering 45 acres, it provides the environmentally friendly power source needed to make hydrogen.
