Peace Education

During late November and early December local members gave nine Peace Lessons at Wyvern College [for boys] and St. Edmund’s Girls School under Caroline Lanyon’s enthusiastic leadership.

During the lessons on ‘What is peace?’, the year 7 (11 year old) pupils wrote some thoughtful messages about peace on colourful decorated cards. These were displayed on two Christmas trees in Salisbury Library, one upstairs and one downstairs, until the New Year for all to see.
