Military posturing fans the flames of war in Europe
Labour CND looks at what Keir Starmer’s ‘unshakalble commitment’ to Nato really means, calling for for de-escalation and dialogue, not a build-up of armaments and troops leading to the brink of a war in Europe. Ours is a strategy of sanity, in contrast to Britain and US military posturing. Read it in full here
 
Say no to Aukus
Signed up to the campaign against Aukus yet? Labour’s annual conference passed an emergency motion circulated by Labour CND with a 70% majority. Get your local party to pass a motion backig this conference decision and ask your MP to Early Day Motion 493 sponsored by Labour CND Vice President Richard Burgon MP. Nuclear power is no solution to our energy crisis
In the first of her regular blogs for Labour CND, well-known climate and just transition activist Sam Mason argues the nuclear industry is losing no time in using the current energy and related cost of living crisis to bolster its position as a ‘silver bullet’ for the climate crisis.
