A message from national CND

Hello CND groups. I hadn’t expected to write to you again this week, but the current situation is very perilous indeed.

It is essential that the crisis in Ukraine be brought to a swift and peaceful conclusion. The longer fighting continues, the more intense it gets, the greater the risk of nuclear war.

We have several resources and actions we hope will be of use to you as we call on our own government to work to resolve the conflict through negotiations, not more violence.

We are asking that CND groups and supporters write to the Prime Ministerto urge the government find a political and diplomatic solution.

And on Saturday at 5pm, please join our online rally to demand peace — the long list of international speakers, including from Ukraine and Russia, shows just how urgent this is.

Get your No Nuclear War posters: either pre-printed through our shop, or download the file and print at home. These would be good to take along to any SOS NHS events taking place on Saturday.
