A nuclear warhead convoy is heading north from Atomic Weapons Establishment Burghfield, Berkshire, today.

It travelled through Oxfordshire this morning, passing Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford (9.10am), Kidlington, Bicester and Banbury escorted by armed MOD police and in the morning’s heavy traffic.

This is the most deadly cargo on our roads.
