CND is launching a major new billboard campaign

As part of the campaign to oppose the return of US nuclear weapons to the UK, CND is planning on launching a major new nationwide billboard campaign in the Autumn. Can you help support us?

The return of US nuclear weapons to the UK ratchets up global tensions, makes any peaceful resolutions to the conflict in Ukraine more difficult to negotiate, and will only make us a target in the event of a nuclear war.

Help us expose what’s happening with a massive-scale billboard campaign across the country – the public must know.

In the coming weeks and months we want to place a series of huge, eye-catching billboards in towns and cities up and down the country. We’ve already booked spots in Birmingham and Liverpool for the Conservative and Labour Party conferences in the autumn, as well as billboards in London, Manchester and Bradford. But we need to book more to get the message out as widely as possible.

If you can, please consider supporting the campaign. It costs around £500 to place a billboard for 2 weeks, and so if your group is able to make a large enough donation then we will do our best to book a spot in a town or city of your choosing.

And even a smaller contribution will make a large difference. We will be launching the campaign to the wider public next week, and any contributions we can get on board before the public launch will result in a more successful launch – for every one donation made before launch we can expect to raise three times that amount when we do launch to the public.
