Lanterns arrive from Hiroshima in preparation for Salisbury CND's commemorative Candle Float

It was with great excitement that we opened a parcel from Japan.  It contained a set of lanterns which had been decorated by art club students of Danbara Junior High School in Hiroshima.  They will join Salisbury CND’s lanterns for our commemorative Candle Float on 8th August.  Details of the event are available via the link below.  Do check out the pictures of the lanterns we have been sent to see the range of ways the students have expressed their sentiments.  To all involved, a big thank you from us.
