Stop the War Coalition newsletter 25/08/22

This week marks 6 months of the war in Ukraine. From the very beginning, the Stop the War Coalition has called for ‘Russian Troops Out,’ No to western escalation and No to NATO’s expansion. These demands are still at the forefront of our campaign.

As the war drags on, more and more lives will be lost. To date, Ukrainian casualties are in the tens of thousands with millions displaced. Instead of banging the drums of war, the West should be advocating and encouraging negotiations and diplomacy.

As the economic crisis deepens and Western governments threaten to raise defence spending, we in the West must intensify our call for peace and sanity.
