The Outer Space Treaty (signed in 1967) says space is a ‘Global Commons’, to be used for peaceful purposes and for the benefit of all countries and humankind. However the UK, other states and big corporations are now militarising outer space, turning it into a ‘war fighting domain’. We need to campaign to ‘Keep Space for Peace’. Proceeds will go to the work of Yorkshire CND to stop the militarisation of space.
U.S. nuclear weapons look set to be returning to RAF Lakenheath, an American-run airbase in Suffolk. This is a dangerous and destabilising development that can only make us less safe. We got rid of these nuclear weapons before: join our campaign to stop them again.
