Special Nuclear Material (SNM) convoy

On Thursday 17th November morning Special Nuclear Material (SNM) convoy vehicles left AWE Aldermaston and travelled to Oxfordshire.

Some travelled from Abingdon, got lost by mistake in Faringdon town, and then arrived to meet in RAF Brize Norton the other convoy vehicles that had arrived via Oxford.

The convoy loaded from an RAF plane that had just flown in from the US.

It then travelled back to the Oxford area, and then made it’s way to Rolls Royce, Raynesway, Derby, arriving at 5.00pm.

It was tracked and monitored all the way by Nukewatchers.
