#PeaceNow Demonstration - This Saturday

Since Russia invaded Ukraine almost 12 months ago we’ve been consistently making the case that the only real solution to the war there lies in a ceasefire and a negotiated settlement. Any supposed military alternatives endanger millions of lives.

With barely a single parliamentarian speaking up for peace it is up to us to be the opposition. The longer the war goes on the more suffering will occur. Join us in the streets on Saturday to call for #PeaceNow!

Assemble at BBC, Portland Place, W1A 1AA at 12 Noon. Marching to Trafalgar Square.

Twitterstorm – Tomorrow @ 5pm

In the past couple of weeks we have had a couple of very successful Twitterstorm’s. Hundreds of you have tweeted your support for the demo and it has really helped to get the word out to thousands more. Tomorrow evening (23 Feb) we want to continue that momentum and get the #PeaceNow hashtag trending once more.

So we’re planning another Twitterstorm tomorrow @ 5-6.30pm, using the hashtags #PeaceNow & #StopTheWar. Just tweet using those hashtags and you’ll be doing your bit to spread the word.
